Types of CT Agents in CS2

Currently, in Counter-Strike 2, agents are classified into four rarity categories:

  • Master Agents
  • Superior Agents
  • Exceptional Agents
  • Distinguished Agents

The most prestigious among them are Master Agents, as they come with additional animations before and after matches, and they have several extra voice lines.

How to Get an Agent in CS2?

There are several ways to get an agent, also known as player skins, in CS2. One of them was available only during an Operation (Valve, please, bring them back!). With an Operation live, players had access to a special store where they could buy this unique agent.

Since we don’t have any Operations currently, the only way to get an agent is from other players. Here, your best choice is SkinsLuck, with numerous lots and low prices. Go and buy now!

Do Agents Provide an Advantage in Counter-Strike 2?

When agents were initially introduced in CS:GO, the community was dissatisfied because some of these agents did give players an advantage: new skins could blend in with the background, while some colorblind players complained that they had difficulties distinguishing certain agents in the game.

However, with the release of Counter-Strike 2, most of these issues have been addressed. Valve has done significant work on both lighting and textures on the map, as well as highlighting the models themselves to make them clearly distinguishable. Therefore, we can now say that agents do not provide any significant competitive advantage.

Instead, agents allow players to express themselves. Agents have customization options (patches), and you can create interesting combinations! Both CT Agent skins and various patches can be purchased on SkinsLuck.
